Key Responsibilities

Automation & Control Management:

• Oversee the site’s automation and controls to ensure optimal plant efficiency and reliability.
• Plan and execute automation projects in line with global standards, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, and servo-motion systems.
• Drive software optimization and maintain all programming records.

Technical Expertise & Support:

• Collaborate with the electrical team to troubleshoot downtime and reduce efficiency losses.
• Provide technical solutions for electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, ensuring compliance with safety and performance requirements.
• Conduct obsolescence audits and upgrade outdated technology with modern, high-performing systems.

Continuous Improvement:

• Support root cause analysis and leverage reliability metrics (MTBF/MTTR) to prioritise maintenance and improvement initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver automation capital projects and operational enhancements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience of reliability and asset care engineering in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with PLC and SCADA programming.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills with a results-driven and process-oriented mindset.

Salary & Work Rights

• 100K - 125K + Super
• Full Australian working rights required.
